Rules and Procedures
As I have stated before, there is a need to re-write the Rules of Melb PC.
The current Rules
are available on-line. The model Rules that are supplied with the Act can be
obtained from
Consumer
Affairs Vic and the
Associations
Incorporation Act is also available. The Rules and Procedures
sub-committee has started work on changes. Now that the Office staff
changes and Chadstone move are behind us, the sub-committee will be meeting
early in the new year to continue the revision. I ask you to participate in the development
of our revised Rules.
I will post further proposals in melbpc.thinktank
which will provide the forum for general discussions on strategy, rules and procedures for Melb PC. If you
have any ideas please air them in the newsgroup or send them to me or to the
Committee. I am also considering using one of the new Forums for
these discussions but it may be hard to coordinate two streams of ideas.
General Notes
The Committee has approved a Volunteering policy which is now available on line. It is proposed that all policies and procedures
will be placed in a separate web page, but until the other items are ready, the Volunteering
Policy can be accessed from here. If you have any questions or comments on this policy email the
Committee attention of the Volunteer Coordinator.
You can provide feedback to me, the Treasurer or the whole
Committee via the e-mail links on this page.
