Melbourne PC User Group Monthly Meeting Deakin University, Burwood
Wednesday September 3rd, 2008 at 7:00 pm

Is it a mobile phone or a small computer? The amazing new i-Mate.
They call it convergence - as all the technologies come closer together and overlap. The new i-Mate is a mobile phone with a full keyboard, wireless access, Microsoft Office suite, Foxtel TV, GPS, high-speed Internet and email. And it will hook up with your computer or TV. Sound like a computer doesn't it? See for yourself.

Is it a pond or is it a music store?
Here's more convergence. Big Pond is launching its new MP3 music store. Plus we will find out about Next G and their upcoming 21 Mbps and 42 Mbps services - and it will give you a chance to ask all the connectivity and tariff questions too. This will be a great night with the newest product and services information so don't miss it.

Random Access
Plus of course bring along your past month's computer problems so you can ask the expert: Barry Martin in our talk-back feature called Random Access.

Lecture Theatre 1, Building I, Deakin University 221 Burwood Highway, Burwood.
