These Linux distributions are all primarily designed for use as "Live CDs". They enable you to try Linux without changing your existing computer in any way, and are very usefull to confirm that your hardware is recognised correctly. They also give you a chance to try Linux before installing it. Note that Live CDs will run somewhat slower compared to the same distribution installed on Hard Disk.

It has a functional and easy to use desktop and programs include a word processor, a spreadsheet and an email application, as well as a web browser, pdf reader and mp3 player.
