Teach Yourself Visually Adobe Photoshop CS2 provides beginners with an easy-to-follow
guide. It is in full colour and follows the visual series format of using
annotated screen shots and example images to show how to perform a comprehensive
range of tasks. The items are grouped together in chapters that cover like
material; most items have a two page spread with text confined to concise step
1, step 2, ... instructions, and with boxed tips that add to the basic
information.
The book won't turn you into a Photoshop expert, but can make you
into a competent user. It covers all the Photoshop functions at a level suitable
to ordinary users. There is no discussion of theoretical issues, or explanations
of concepts: just the steps presented in an easy to understand format.
Even if, as a novice, you aspire to professional level knowledge of Photoshop,
this title will help you develop confidence to move onto more advanced texts.
Good value and worth having in libraries.
