Do you need to:
- Connect to the internet
- Send and receive E-mail and subscribe to Newsgroups
Prerequisites:
- There are no prerequisites but you should be familiar with the Microsoft Windows environment and able to use a keyboard and mouse.
- You should have an Internet account or be about to connect to the Internet
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Set up modem connections
- Install and configure Internet software
- Use and change passwords
- Browse and search using MS Internet Explorer 6
- Download, install and upload files
- Configure Mail and News software
- Configure News Group and discussion.
- Create, send and reply to mail, add attachments
- Access E-mail from a remote site.
- Understand Netiquette,
- Understand the threat and impact of Viruses
