Agenda
7:00 pm ... Guest Presentation: Prem Kumar will present in person
Topic: How AI & AR Can Be Used in the Day-to-Day Activities of Elders

Prem Kumar is a technology innovator working at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and immersive technologies. His company builds software for both Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) glasses, with a focus on practical, real-world applications that enhance everyday life.
In this session, Prem will explore how AI, AR, and VR can support older adults — from improving accessibility and independence to enhancing communication and cognitive assistance. He will share practical examples of immersive technologies in action and discuss how Australia can participate in the next wave of human-centred computing.
This talk is designed for technologists, community members, and anyone curious about how emerging technologies can serve social good.
Then...
We are going to have an extended interval with drinks and nibbles and an opportunity to have a bit of a chat and generally socialise. We will provide light nibbles, tea, coffee and soft drinks. Feel free to BYO beer or vino.

And then ...
-
David S-G will present the President report.
-
And we will hear from iHelp.
- To wind up we'll have as long as you like to chat over Zoom. Please feel free to hang around; the socialising is good medicine in these stressful times.
and last but not least ...
The restaurant has been arranged for WAFFLE, a relaxed social get together at nearby Fong's Chinese restaurant. Details and maps will be available on the night.
