Monday 16th August at 9.30 AM to 12 Noon General Meeting & Q&A
Monday 16th August at 1.30 PM to 4.30 PM Family History
At this stage we don’t know whether we can meet at the Information Center (Hybrid Meeting) or it will have to be another Zoom meeting.
You will be informed closer to the date.
This was last month AGENDA
We will commence the meeting with a Q&A session. We will have a look at the recently announced Windows 11, which we expect will be available, at no cost, early in 2022. John Thompson will present another of his “Thommo’s Tips” and this time he will show us how to use the calendars that are available using several formats.
After the coffee break, we will continue the sequence of presentations about the programs that make up the Microsoft Office Suite. We have had Word, Excel and PowerPoint. This time we will look at probably the least known Office program, Access. Microsoft Access is an information management tool, or relational database, that helps you store information for reference, reporting and analysis. Access can also overcome the problems that can arise when trying to manage large amounts of information in Excel.
The Family History Group will commence its meeting at 1:30pm. This meeting will also be a Zoom meeting. All members on the Family History Contact List will receive a Notice about the Family History Meeting, with a different Zoom code.
