As usual, we will commence the meeting with our Q&A session conducted by Brian Parkes. At the last meeting Brian gave us a remarkable description of the problems that he had encountered in what should have been a straight-forward process to connect his house to the NBN. At this meeting we hope that we do not hear of other members having similar problems, but we would like to hear about any problems that you are having with your desktop, laptop, tablet or even your phone.

After the Coffee-Break Terry Said will give a presentation on two of the features that are included with the Windows 10 1809 upgrade, which we are now assuming that most of our members have downloaded.

They are:

  1. The high definition video option
  2. The option to download from one cloud data to another.

Following that we will have a look at the Melbourne PC User website and to particularly study the “Yammer” component of the website and how you can watch the proceedings at the last meeting of the Melbourne PC User Group at Moorabbin on the First Wednesday.

The Family History Group will commence its meeting at 1:30pm., with Colin Ackehurst as the Convenor. Colin has sent an Agenda to all our members who attend the Family History Group. If you do not receive the agenda, and would like a copy, please contact Colin Ackehurst at colin_a_ackehurst@bigpond.com

The next meeting of the Advanced DNA Group will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, 27th March, at the Information Centre. If you are interested and are not receiving Colin Ackehurst’s e-mail about this meeting, please contact him on the e-mail address shown in the paragraph above.
