This Week 25th July

Here's what's happening in the coming week 25th - 31st July 2025

Microcontroller Discovery Workshop

I will be running another microcontroller discovery workshop tomorrow (Friday). The topic will be "Motorin' along" - discovering some of the small motors most often used in robotics type projects.

Daytime monthly meeting - Report

Our first "daytime monthly" was held @Moorabbin on Monday 21/7. It went unexpectedly well. We had 8 people sat around a table. We had our bring-a-plate lunch and, well, had a nice chat about this and that. One great thing was we had a member turn up who has a 3-digit membership number, and AFAICR said he had never been to @Moorabbin before. Another member discussed a spare part we might be able to design for some machine or other he has. When Mic Adams showed him our maker room and 3D printers he promised get bring along some of his Mens' Shed mates to have a look.

We'll definitely be doing another one next month, so watch this space!
