This week 10th July
31st July 2025
What’s on this week!
Pot Luck Picks
On Monday 14th at 11am we have Pot Luck Picks. A very laid back get-together where people can do a mini-talk about pretty much anything that's occupied them recently.
Daytime monthly meeting
As I announced last week, the inaugural daytime monthly meeting will be Monday 21 July at 1pm. I now have a web page; please take a peek at https://www.melbpc.org.au/daytime-montly-meeting-1/
This whole thing is designed to get members to get out more, during the day. Bring a (shareable) Plate, come along and socialise. I may even prepare a party game or two!
I am also trying to arm twist a major player in AI to offer members an attractive subscription to their service, which gives unfettered access to a bunch of different AI models. They may even talk to us at the daytime meeting.
3D Printing
Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday Mic Adams runs his 3D printing group. Pop in for advice, help fixing a printer, or maybe help making some little gizmo that will make life easier about the house. You may even be able to borrow a printer to take home for a couple of weeks. We are passionate about 3D printing, and love to help members.
This is a bed head night light I am developing. So far it's just a test piece to get the correct detection field. A lot of these designs require multiple iterations. The single white LED will eventually be a programmable colour strip.
