About WHSIG
The WH SIG is an amalgamation of four Melb PC groups (Multimedia, Hardware, Video Production and Digital Imaging) which traditionally have met at Wadham House, Mt Waverley.
A general-purpose group, the WH SIG provides the opportunity for MelbPC members to discuss and present a broad range of technology-oriented topics, such as PC hardware, software and peripheral, as well as, the related technologies of smart phones, smart TVs, video, still photography etc. Generally, what’s new in technology and, hopefully, how to make use of it.
As of July 2025 the NE & Android SIG has merged with this SIG. So please discuss and ask questions about android equipped devices such as smart phones.
Even classic motor cars and EVs will get a mention from time to time.
Of course, the traditional topics of ‘New Equipment’ and ‘Problem Solving’ will not be forgotten.
New and Future Technologies ( Each month George Skarbek will give us an update on the latest news in Technology)
The actual content will be guided by the expressed interests and personal involvement of our members, without which the group cannot be a success.
Members who cannot be present at the first meeting in the month at Wadham House will be able to participate on Zoom. Details of meeting times and location can be found under Meeting Details
